RecommendedWe love both Exotic Vets that are there: Dr. Burcham and Dr. Carrier. They are the best. They genuinely care about the animals. Dr. Burcham handled my guinea pig's broken leg and another's mouth wound. Dr. Carrier neutered one of our boy guinea pigs and he made sure to help him through the healing process as well. Very fantastic Veterinarians!! Thank you so much!!
Dr. Burcham and the rest of the staff have cared for our pets for many years. The care they provide and and compassion they show for us and our pets, continues to improve each time we visit. We particularly appreciate their team approach and the broad range of services they offer.
All of our bunnies needed their teeth removed and Dr. Burcham took such great care of them! She's still taking extremely good care of our Jo Luke!
Was highly recommended by my aviary to use this beautiful and wonderful customer service vet for my Indian Ringneck parakeet. Love the staff and Dr. Carrier. So helpful and they show the love to your animals and listen to your concerns and suggestions. Will be my to go place for my babies for ever. What am amazing veterinary center! They are amazing with big dogs who get vet anxiety and little dogs who always need extra attention. They're also really great with upset pet moms too :-) This is the kind, caring, and nice center that you look for. Everyone from the moment you walk in is so nice and understanding!
We first visited Mariposa after adopting our Rosie from Kitty City. Due to distance, we remained at the vet by our home. Two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. After exploring options, we went back to Mariposa and met with Dr. Runnels. Yesterday, although they took great care of her for the day, her body just could not continue and we lost her shortly before arriving to pick her up. Absolutely love this office!!! Dr. Lu and staff are always so kind and never make me feel rushed when I have a million questions. My puppy got sick and they worked us into their busy schedule and though I'm sure it made things even more crazy they didn't skip any corners with my dogs care!
I had a great experience bringing my chameleon here for a treatment. It's hard to find exotic animal vets, but don't look any further until you've been to Mariposa.
Thank you to everyone at Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center for taking such good care of our 20-year-old shadow-man today! He had a full dental and 7 extractions with lots of love and care. He will feel so much better now that those rotten teeth are gone and no longer causing bad breath and gum disease!! We wouldn’t trust anyone else w our babies (especially the 800 year old poodle)!
