I had a great visit with Dr. JC Burcham today. She is the exotics vet and she was very knowledgeable about my bearded dragon. She is the best exotics vet in KC that I have visited. I won't go anywhere else from now on. I highly recommend her.

Just want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr Lu and the entire staff for the care and love you showed my beloved big boy Gabriel. Even though it was only a few visits i could feel that you truly cared about his health and well being. Dr Lu, thank you for coming in on your day off so that my big boys suffering ended peacefully and with those who loved him! Gabriel's entire family thank you all for doing what you do to help those fur babies day after day and truly acting like you love each one of them.
I LOVE Mariposa. I have been here for several reptiles and have been here for weekly visits with my newest chameleon rescue. Dr.Burcham is very sweet and knowledgeable and also extremely honest and straight forward which I appreciate very much. Karma loves being sung to by receptionist Amber every time we come in. My Great Dane Ogilvy has been going to Mariposa since he was a pup. After 2 and a half years, I can't imagine taking him anywhere else! He's always greeted with treats and love from every single person in the office. While he rarely leaves my side easily – he allows the techs to lead him about and treat him without any trouble. His trust and comfort with them is absolutely priceless!

Dr Erin Runnels saved my cats life twice! I love that this veterinary clinic is holistic and doesn't push a lot of unnecessary treatment. If your pet needs surgery, you won't get an inflated overpriced quote like a lot of the other 24 hour ER clinics. You and your pet with always be treated with love, respect and dignity at Mariposa!!
