Dr. Carrier took awesome care of Syra over the last 4+ weeks as we battled a hematoma and ear infection on her left ear. Vets are current on the research and procedures that can greatly improve the quality and length of your dog’s life. It is well worth my 40-50-minute drive in both directions.
Dr. Burcham and Dr. Carrier are both excellent avian veterinarians, I highly recommend them.

They sell products but can’t provide nutritional information. We purchased tarter shield rawhide chews. The bag doesn’t show nutritional information and the clinic isn’t helpful at all. I would expect them to help beyond “look on the bag”.
This is hands down the BEST vet office ever! Everyone is so wonderful, from the greetings by name when we open the door from the front desk staff to the vet techs that gets us ready for the doctors and the doctors themselves. I can definitely tell they care about my pets and have an interest in their wellbeing. I haven’t seen all the doctors but the ones we have seen are amazing! Same goes for the vet techs! Omg so I work at a grooming salon in Lawrence and we sent a customer to Mariposa for their dog’s pretty severe allergies. They got all of the answers they needed and the dog is looking absolutely amazing on his new grain-free food and shampoo. Thank you for helping us help our customers!
The staff is so very friendly and you can tell they are all animal lovers. Prices are reasonable as well especially for new puppy visits. I highly recommend Dr. Burcham. She has a love for animals that shows through in the way she handles them, and her knowledge.
