I was just discharged this past Monday April 9th after a two week stay for severe asthma exacerbation/sinusitis, among other things. I want to thank MGH for the excellent care I received during this time..both in the step down unit and on the medical floor. I want to tell you that I enjoyed my stay at Marin General, and that your doctors may have saved my life. Your staff was great, compassionate, friendly and caring. Special shout out to my nurses Key, Jim and Cesar. There were more helpful ones I don't remember when I stayed in a single room after recovering from the pacemaker procedure. Marin General and UCSF are the hospitals we count on for receiving the very best health care! Thanks for all that you do!
Service received: fine. The bill?! Robbery. $2236.77 for glue and a sterie-strip on a 1/2 inch cut. 15 minutes trip!! Maddening that this is legal.
I stumbled into Marin Gen on Jan 8 suffering from the worst symptoms of the current flu. Despite a 5 hour wait among other hacking, crying, and moaning people, I was treated with courtesy and respect by the staff in the waiting area and the ER proper. The nurse and PA that treated me were professional, kind and efficient. After an IV bag of fluids and something to treat the pain, I was out the door and on my way to recovery. I won’t wait so long next time. Kudos to Marin General for being such a gem in our community.
Staff is very helpful especially in the middle of the night when they try to make you comfortable.
A hospital that allowed my dad a manager Brad Bedwell have an open affair with front line staff Rebeka Romano so he can run out on his family. Pretty great that the hospital has such good standards. Family oriented, keeps their employees taken care of by allowing girlfriends in the workplace.
When the Marin Civic Centre housed the evacuees from the fires Kent and Bella his therapy dog from Marin General came by after their shift with you - he wasn't asked he just showed up every single day knowing there was a real need. I cannot tell you how many smiles they put on the faces of all the children when they needed it the most. Please pass on my love and thanks - they were amazing and made a huge difference at a very scary worrying time. He was a true God send. Thanks Kent and Bella - angels on earth x
