I have to say that my wife and i had the most amazing experience in a long time by dining out at Marie Calendars in the city of Glendora California. We had one of the best servers that you could ever want and her name is Violet. Violet not only made us feel at home she went over and beyond her duties to make sure that we were happy with this restaurant just like it was her own. Employees like this are very rare nowadays and should be rewarded for their dedication to a business.
I can get soup and pie or meet friends and the happy hour cocktails are outstanding!!!!
The food was great, as well as, the service. Bartender was outstanding!
We ordered TakeOut Potato Cheese Soup, Cornbread, and Salad. Well the soup was so thick that you could paste two bricks together with it. The cornbread was very dry, and the honey butter was horrible. It had a weird taste of metal, it was disgusting I spit out the bite. This is not the Marie Calendars I remember as I grew up. The soup had zero cheese in the Potato Cheese Soup. Mercy, call it Potato Cream, not cheese.
