Maria’s was always the place that we loved because it was the “anti-Torchy’s) and an Austin institution that we’ve been going to since the old location. However, we were so saddened today to have cold and stale tacos with Torchy’s prices. Sad to see an end of an era.
RecommendedReally delish breakfast tacos! Sausage, Chorizo and Bacon ones were the favs of our group!

Taco Xpress is still an Austin go-to. The area around it has changed so much over the years but Taco Xpress has consistently stayed true to its roots and delicious food.
One of my favorites in South Austin. Go see Maria — she’ll make sure you’re taken care of!
