Gospel Brunch/Hippie Church
Maria’s has been around forever and I’ve always loved it! But today I was reminded why it’s such a classic in Austin. From the interesting decorations, inside and outside, to the delicious menu & their homemade tortillas... It’s the love that keeps people coming back... all the little things that make this taco joint so special. (Please refer to my photos!) I highly recommend the Bandera taco and the Buddha bowl!

Excellent atmosphere. The food is exquisite. Definitely take the time to visit. You won’t be disappointed. The service is great and Maria is just precious. I highly recommend this place.

Maria’s Taco Xpress has been a delicious fixture staple of South Austin for decades, every single dish is prepared with love, care, cleanest and talent everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, recommend it highly. Delicioso!!
An Austin institution! The chimichurri sauce is soooo good! It’s a must try!
Service was slow. Cashier messed up on my order. Food was cold when I received it. Found a string inside my margarita. Overall terrible experience 👎🏻
