Maria’s Taco Xpress serves up awesome authentic TexMex in their iconic South Austin location. Maria has a long history of supporting local & all visiting SXSW artists for almost 2 decades. Sunday Hippie Church is a must! Love you Maria, and her closest associate, Fernando!!!
Dancing to live music that's all about love! For free! (But I always tip the band a fiver.) Great food! Free ice water! Groovy folks! What's not to love?

Marias is a must when I visit Austin! I went there during my first ACL Festival...and my 2nd. The atmosphere is unique and the food is always fresh and consistently good. The Migas tacos with a cold beer will put you in the right mood everytime! And don't forget to take home a jar of Chimichurri sauce. Thank you Maria and Staff for all the love♡

We heard about Maria's from the SA & Austin taco battle. We decided to give it a go being that we are originally from SA so we are accustomed to that type of Tex Mex and love it. It's hard to come across here in Austin. Maria's was really good though. Wish they did homemade tortillas versus store bought though. Will be back and will be bringing family from SA as well.😋
Marias is my home away from home pretty much. I'm there almost every Sunday hanging with friends dancing for Hippie Church and having some great food. I am so happy Maria's is staying open for the long haul. We all love it so!
