This is legit Italian. I LOVE their eggplant parmesan. SO good!
A perfect meal of spaghetti and meatballs and shrimp scampi. The best Italian food that we have had in a while.
The food was ok , I ordered chicken Parmesan, but got veal instead , I’ve had better however the atmosphere was that of a cafeteria and located in a bad section of Portland . The hostess was irritable and not very friendly and our waiter was rude . He never came and asked us how our meal was . He had made a comment about the money in my wallet and called me “money bags” Will not return and will not suggest this place to anyone !
The meal was ok but the waiter was very rude at the end. He felt the tip was not to hos standard, i thought 15% of the bill was the normal. He walked up to us when leaving and asked for more...terrible
Closest thing to the North End of Boston without the traffic or high prices. One of the best cannolis Ive ever had.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner Friday evening with two long time friends at Maria's! Relaxing with glasses of wine, sharing laughs and stories started off the evening. Our waiter was excellent as he steered us in making dinner choices from the menu. My Italian platter with a sampling of several entrees was delicious as were all of our choices. The authentic Italian recipes were done to perfection...and with plenty to take home for the next evening's dinner! We'll be back soon!
