Love Maria's. It's as if you stepped back in time and expect Frank Sinatra to come around the corner. Love it! The food is prepared to order (it's not fast food). Gives you time to converse with your friends/family. Delicious!
Maria's is the best, most authentic Italian restaurant in the Portland area, and has been for decades. The Napolitano family have always prided themselves on their delicious recipes, romantic atmosphere and and excellent waitstaff. Our family has been a fan of Maria's for many years, and will be for many more to come. A trip to Portland wouldn't be complete without dinner at Maria's.
Awesome family run restaurant, food atmosphere (especially when the crooners are there 😉). If you haven’t been, Groupon is a great option to buy and try. You’ll love it!
Beyond pitiful customer service. The waitstaff never introduced themselves to us. The food was subpar at best and I feel as though I could make better “authentic” Italian food in my kitchen. After waiting a half an hour for it, our garlic bread appetizer was burnt and extremely hard. After waiting an hour for our entree since being seated, we decided to ask for it to go and went home. I want to thank Gene Sorrenti for giving my the opportunity to taste this amazing Tomato Basil Sauce!!! Try it!!!
This place is crazy overpriced, and lacking in flavor. The portions are big but the price tag is not worth the food.
