I good gunshop. My only complaint is they never update their online used guns list. It's discouraging to drive 35 miles to be told "Oh, we sold that one months ago,"
Best gun shop I ever been to and I've been to quite a few. It's about an hour and fifteen minute drive for me but well worth it. I've recommended to friends and brought a few there and they love it too. Best prices on firearms, ammo and you're able to handle the guns, FOID card holders only, without getting the hard sell. Sales people are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Their sale prices are quite good as well.
Best gun shop around. The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful. Marengo Guns always has the best prices and deals around.
I never play the race card but these guys had no problems telling me I'm not wanted there without any provocation at all! After being there as long as a number of others quietly shopping I was approached by one of the employees and asked to show my FOID card. I did so immediately without my asking him why he told me I looked suspicious because I was wearing sunglasses while wearing gloves in the dead of winter. My First time coming here yesterday, and at first it threw me for a loop. They had Disco music playing from the speakers and my first thought was “This is different!” Once I settled in on Parliaments “Flashlight” with Bootsy Collins slapping the bass it made the shopping experience more enjoyable! I have never inspected an AR 15 while tapping my foot to P-Funk till now!
