I've have been living at Marcy Village for almost 2 years, it's a really awesome location and I love my neighbors. But the "historic" nature of our apartment has left me appalled. My bedroom has had to receive multiple fixes due to excessive water damage. Yellow and brown colors (mold) would begin forming and maintenance would paint & plaster over it. I had lived at Marcy Village for 3 years and just recently moved out. I wanted to highlight my experience here as it was a great time, friendly staff, and quiet apartment! I moved to Marcy Village about a year ago, and I have no complaints! My favorite part about living here is how beautiful the trees are especially throughout the seasons. I love the way it feels like a college campus and sort of a community. Short walk to the monon and lots of coffee shops/restaurants nearby to check out!
Marcy Village far exceeds my expectations and delivers comfortably affordable apartments. The high ceilings and solid construction make Marcy Village a one-in-a-million opportunity for anyone looking for something close (but not too close) to downtown. I needed a place quickly, and I took a chance, basing my decision on the website tour and descriptions. Best bet I ever made.
It's a great location with friendly admin staff and a very quick maintenance team. Well worth the slightly higher price tag!
