Dr. Marcus listened to me and seemed willing to help me, in a way that is comfortable for me and my needs. He reassured me that he could go out on a limb for me, if need be. I've had too many psychiatrists who seem to have an agenda that is not in harmony with my own personal experience. Our first session. At 82, I was hopeful that I would be treated with respect. Dr. Marcus has the rare combination of professional expertise along with a warm and accepting manner. I am a retired therapist. Over 45 years, I have met countless therapists and psychiatrists this doctor stands out. He was very thorough in taking my presenting problem and going over my medication and family history. I was very impressed and I will continue working with him. on my medications. I left his office feeling a great deal of hope.
Mr Marcus was not rushing things , he spent good enough time with me to go through the questions . he was very friendly and detailed . I feel much better after our discussion about the medication .

After our brief introductions, Dr. Marcus efficiently moved on th the business at hand. Brief case history, current meds, follow-up questions to clarify certain details and then he came up with medical treatment plan. Very efficient. You can tell he is well-versed and knows his stuff!
I have to say that this was my best doctor visit ever. Dr. Marcus showed compassion, attentiveness, and willingness to help. He spent a great deal of time to listen to my concerns and understand my condition. He also asked me a lot of follow up questions to pinpoint the root causes of my condition.
