I haven't been there in two years, and now I remember why. – I went to Marco's two years ago and my dinner companion remembered it as a horrible experience. I had totally forgotten, but remembered upon sitting down. We got there two hours into dinnertime, and they were already out of two dishes we specifically were looking forward to. The last of the two specials was given to a couple who were seated after us and who was greeted in a timely fashion. We, however, were ignored for a long enough time that we were about to get u... read more

Excellent dinner specials posted on website daily, great brunch – Marco?s has become the go-to choice for dinner for my wife and I over the last few years. The regular menu includes excellent salads and good burgers, as well as the best French Dip sandwich I?ve ever had. But the nightly specials list posted on their website every afternoon around 3:00 is what keeps us coming back. You always know that there's something you'll like before you go. There are usually 4-6 meals a night, including a couple of vegetarian choices th... read more

unique, friendly, and good food too – I think Marco's is great. It's a cute little neighborhood spot with a unique atmosphere and a lot of personality. The nightly specials are innovative and exciting. Where else can you get prime rib, halibut and filet mignon for those prices? I've had the same meal at other, overpriced restaurants where the quality was the same, but the menu prices were a whole lot more As for the breakfasts, the potatoes are nothing special, but everything else I've ever had for breakfast there was fantas... read more

not so good – I was really disappointed. I took my boyfriend to this recommended joint. Seating was fast on a SUnday morning, but, our coffee was not. We waited 15 minutes for the coffee that came just a minute before our food. We barely got our waters refilled. Had to get up to get our own Ketchup and hot sauce. My bacon was like it was put in the deep fryer and dripping with oil, and cold somehow too. The french toast was not soaked all the way through so I could really taste that cheap white wonderbread. And of course it ... read more

So Disappointed! – I took my fiance to Marco's, as I had remembered there being great brunch there several years ago. We were sadly disappointed. He had a patty melt, I had their special omelette. First I was served the wrong omelette, which was whisked out from under my nose midway through the first bite without so much as an apology. It was as if I were at fault for the mix-up. When the correct meal finally arrived, it literally had a puddle of grease oozing out from underneath it. Likewise for my fiance's fries, which wer... read more

The Hollandaise Blahs – Recently, not having dined at Marco's for quite some time, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch there. We remembered the restaurant as a place we could count on for a very high level of service and excellent cuisine. Both were sadly lacking. My wife was served a plate of eggs Benedict and, after the first bite, informed me that the hollandaise sauce was bland. I sampled the sauce and found it to be absolutely tasteless. There was not a hint of lemon or vinegar; flavor "zilch"! We called t... read more

Very disappointed! – My family and I have been going to Marco's for breakfast for over 10 years now and have always enjoyed it. We even bring people from out of town there. We went this morning and the first thing we noticed is that there wasn?t a line waiting to be seated. We thought we were lucky! We sat & ordered breakfast. After it arrived, we started eating and all of us noticed that the food was just not up to Marco's standard. The potatoes (my favorite) were over boiled and under fried. They were kind of like mashed p... read more

Good Breakfast – Although a bit pricey and somewhat meager portions (the breakfast menu may say Chicken Sausage Links, but it'll be just one link sliced in half; if you sub fruit for potatoes be prepared for a couple thin slices of melon), the service is lickity-split fast and the food itself is terrific. Coffee--unusually poor at most breakfast spots in this java-rich city--is pretty darn good, with quick and bottomless refills (well, what do you expect when it's $2.10?!). I swear they must have a Jetson's food machine back... read more

Great Breakfast – Weekends are packed and if you get there too late, you will find yourself waiting a bit. Well worth the wait, the breakfast burritto and potatoes are the bomb. All dishes are huge, I can never finish my food.
