Went to my son's first appt. Honestly liked the dentist 10/10. But one of the hygienist rubbed me the wrong way. You would think being a "pediatric office" they would know what works and what doesn't work for toddlers. She was very rude and pushy. They didn't even try to play a movie or side track him at all. I have worked with kids in a medical setting and these types of things don't need to be that traumatic for kids. I'm sure for older kids it might be a great office because I had no issues with dentist at all.

She was super nervous and new to treating little ones. So I’m so sorry for your experience. She’s so much more comfortable now. ❤️Also, what a double whammy that day. 😳We play constant movies for our kiddos and our Blue Ray player had to be replaced. Dr. Ottesen and her staff are the best of the best. Very friendly and professional. Well worth the drive no matter where you live.

Been going to Dr Otteson’s office for a few years now and I appreciate how thorough she is. She maximizes my insurance coverage and considers my overall health that affects my teeth. The staff is also very friendly. During Covid, I like the extra caution that take.

Finding a new dentist is hard, this time we lucked out! The Ottesen practice is truly caring of your comfort and the initial visit was the most thorough examination I’ve ever been given. They have the latest instruments and X-ray in a sterile environment, all designed for patient care. It’s been a while since I felt like a patient and not a customer in a dental practice. As seniors, we liked their dental plan as well. Highly recommend them.
