Always spends time to explain tests results and recommend treatment
Dr. Shalek is the only physician I've ever seen who had thoroughly read my medical history before seeing me. We discussed my situation and recommended testing and treatment options. I felt we were collaborating versus not having a say in my medical care.
He is sharp (obviously very intelligent) and I know he is engaged in my care. I feel safe with him overseeing my heart health.
He is extremely knowledgeable, levelheaded, and caring. A fantastic doctor who clearly loves his job!
