My husband does not make a very good patient. Dr. Milia listened to my husband's concerns without judgement and put my husband at ease. Dr. Milia repaired his shoulder beautifully then his team was on point with following up with his recovery. Dr. Milia could be the only doctor my husband has ever trusted
Great bedside manner. Made sure to explain every step
Dr. Milia is very personable and attentive to your concerns. He gives you the time needed to ask and answer all your questions and never makes any question or concern seem small. As a surgeon he is excellent. Nothing is color coded for persuasion. He lets you know what to expect and has been there every step of the way toward my recovery. Opening The Get-Well Loop each morning shows those how to's, answers those questions and gives reminders needed after surgery. Dr.Milia was very attentive, knowledgeable and thorough. The surgical repair of my full thickness rotator cuff tear and bicep tenodesis by Dr. Milia was about a hour and a half outpatient surgery and I recovered at home. It's rough at first but worth it if you wanna have a good quality of life, this is day 8 for me and I feel way way better than day 2 and even tho the first couple of days were rough I would do it if I were you and on the fence.
