Was happy here til my son had vision therapy. Was forced to pay for therapy up front and file will my insurer. Dr said that it is not usually covered. Turns out my carrier covers it and Dr. Should have been billing them per his contract with them. They paid the Doctor per contract and We are having trouble getting the money back from the Doctor. Please do your research on this practice. Read other reviews from other websites. My son visited Dr. Sherman, O.D. in the summer of 2017. Sherman did an extremely expensive evaluation that wasn’t covered under insurance. His findings ranged from Suppression of Binocular Vision, to Convergence Insufficiency, to Intermittent Exotropia. His diagnosis was swift and quick to recommend “Vision Therapy”. VT isn’t covered by insurance and was $800/month, for two hour long group sessions each week. Love Dr. Sherman. Have been coming for over 20 years! Dr. Sherman is thorough and considerate! Love him and the staff, who go out of their way to accommodate you and your particular issues!!!
Shady. Sketchy. Save your $1055.00 "neuroprocessing evaluation" for another office. They are not upfront with their fees. They are happy to take your money but have a hard time explaining what it went towards. They don't explain or inform you of anything but expect you to drain your savings every time you walk in the door. Do your research!! Go somewhere else!
The staff at this clinic are amazing!! They are very helpful and they are always with a smile. The doctors at this clinic were able to recognize the vision problem my son AJ has and knew what to do to work on it. Our family loves this place!!!
