I want to give a shout out to the ICU unit 61; they were absolutely amazing. They did everything in their power to help my grandma. They gave her top notch care and comfort. The nurses, doctors, respiratory therapist were wonderful. Words cannot put forth the appreciation. Love always Buck’s, Youtsey’s, and Estes’s

KU is more worried about having the latest technology that they have lost the art form of medicine. Compassion, respect, understanding, and empathy are all just as important in the healing process as the newest pharmacologic or surgical treatments, but unfortunately these are all lacking. The coordination of care is terrible.
