As long as ive been a previous employee and patient along with my family Yesterday the Doctors attitude was very offensive. The resident and medical student were awesome and caring. I refuse to let anyone in the medical profession talk to me or my child any kind od way... Evidently she does not need my child as a patient. We can find another kidney doctor!

I was trying to schedule an appt. with Dr. Kelly Hendricks. I was told since I had had surgery on my hip he would not see me until March. I thing is the surgery was 12 years ago in 2004. I was referred to him because he was supposed to be familiar with the implant that I have. I asked the gal incharge if there was any way to get a message to him and she said there was nothing she could do. The doctor said March and that was it. The staff especially the aides were the best, it was my first time ever long staying there, everyone was helpful, except a few but overall it was good

I'm extremely unimpressed with the lack of sensitivity shown by the nurse I dealt with today at KU Medical Center. She can go through and see my chart, my info, my meds...and has the gall to say what she said to me. It wasn't bad enough that when I was trying to tell her things to address with the Doctor that she kept talking over me and rushed through everything - she had to take it a step too far. They really should train their staff to be more professional.
