Er SUCKS. I went, I had to leave and I was dying in the waiting room after I finally BARELY got out the hospital and into my car, I'm going in and out of conciousness the whole way. shawnee mission ER SAVED my life, where KU had left me to die. SHAME on ppl that are supposed to be helping.
Dr. David Beahm in the Otolaryngology office is an absolute lifesaver. I had sinus surgery last September and had been miserable ever since. My original ENT just kept telling me everything was fine, and that it all healed up well, but I was miserable 24/7. Headaches. Sinus pain. Bloody noses. The works. I finally decided to seek out a second opinion and that's where I found Dr. B! He listened to all of my concerns and quickly discovered the issues! The doctors are not compassionate, and some of the nurses and aids aren't either. And the communication between doctors and the patient is the worst I've seen. I will not be getting my care here again.
I go there every 2 weeks. The staff in the department I go to are amazing!
Only one small problem as big as that beautiful as that hospital it need more ambulances my husband was discharged at 9 30 didn't get out TIL 1 p.m. other than that I love it
