Delightful New Orleans style brunch with chandeliers and choice of buffet or menu. I’ve had the buffet both times I’ve been here, nice variety of choices including crab and peel and eat shrimp. Don’t miss the banana foster French toast made on demand, or the carving table prime rib. Looks like an expensive bougie place but even the buffet is only $40 and the menu items very reasonable. My husband and I live in Clear Lake and had absolutely no idea that this stunning restaurant was tucked away so close to home. Marais in Dickinson is truly a hidden treasure, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we had discovered something special. We were greeted by Gregory, who welcomed us with the biggest smile and one of the warmest, most genuine personalities I've encountered in a long time. We tried their Sunday brunch and we are a bit disappointed. The prime rib and fried chicken were dry, waffles were a bit soggy, but their French toast and gumbo were great. $10 for champagne was great. On the menu it says $40 per person, but on the bill it was $45 per person. When we inquired, we were told they were changing the price next week. Not sure why we were already charge $45 this week, and made me wonder how many other people were charged the higher price.
Food had absolutely no flavor. Won’t be going back again.
