Horrible service! We walk in and the manager doesn’t even greet us at the door just asks us w a frown “ do you have reservations?” We didnt have reservations so we got seated outside when clearly other customers who were seated after us didn’t have any either . Had dinner to celebrate our friend's birthday. We had dinner from their Dine Out-Give Back menu. 4 courses for $55. Soup/Salad, Appetizer, Entree and Dessert. All were delicious! Happy Hour cocktails were great too. Our server was very attentive. Highly recommend!
Marais is quickly becoming my wife’s and my go-to date night spot. We went last Friday and had another fantastic experience. I ordered the osso bucco, and my wife had the seafood pasta—both were incredible and cooked perfectly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere that makes it perfect for a date night without feeling overly formal. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and the owner even personally stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well, which was a really nice touch. I have dined at Marais several times. I was disappointed with the service and overall experience this time. We went with the expectation to get the Tx Equisearch menu this trip. I started with a tableside smoked Old Fashion... it was served not tableside smoked and then there was even an EXTRA $6 charge for Woodford.
