We’ve been working with Maple Star for a year. Our recruiter(Ronda) helped us get the initial paperwork turned in, taught our classes, and went above and beyond to help us with intake for our first placement! We are so thankful that God led us to Maple Star. All of the staff is wonderful to work with. Everyone works very hard both for the children and the foster parents. They help you every step of the way and are truly an advocate for you and your foster child. We were fostering to adopt and I’m blessed to say that we just finalized our adoption last week. Maple Star has been amazing with our family. They work really hard with families and children and set everyone up for success. Our family works really closely with Kim and she has been someone we can truly rely on and lean on when we need her. The trainings and community opportunities are very helpful and help families gain a better understanding of being a successful foster parent. I am so happy we found Maple Star!
We have absolutely loved how well cared for we are by MapleStar. They have had our backs the last 5.5 years while fostering for them in both the metro area and now southern area of the state. We have had phenomenal support from all 3 of our home supervisors through the years but will give a shout out to Kim C. Dur to how long she has served us.
