A very disappointing experience. Overcharged cover for Rebirth Brass Band and then oversold to point that it was too crowded and dangerous. Left after second song. They owe us $75.

Well a few comments, The Maple Leaf holds less than 300 (not 1000) and yes Tuesdays are crowded , because it is the Grammy winning Rebirth Brass Band (playing their weekly 27 years) show and is considered a must see in New Orleans. Admission to the show is $20 so Im not sure at how you arrived at the $75 you feel you are owed. Im so sorry we weren't you"e cup of tea, but should you find yourself on Oak Street come by and say hello and Ill buy you a beer....Douggie
We were there for George Porter's birthday it was awesome and the music was great.
If you're ever in town on a Tuesday night, go hear Rebirth Jazz Band. Music for the mind, body and soul.
What an awesome place! Great vibes, great beers, GREAT music. There's an outside bar in the back which has a courtyard with plenty of unique seating to go have a smoke, take a break or just enjoy the ambiance of this joint. Awesomely diverse crowds with one goal in mind...to enjoy the grooves!
Nothing but a hole in the wall which is all you need when properly filled to the brim with live soul, horns and back beat.
Great vibe. Great staff. Great music. All around my favorite place in town.
