This was a GREAT little place. The music was FANTASTIC and the people were super friendly.

Hit's all of the key points- incredible live music,friendly staff and customers, reasonable admission and a serious dive bar! EVERYTIME I go to NOLA, I come here at least once.
I was taken to The Maple Leaf by a damn Yankee to see the ReBirth Brass Band. It was a Tuesday night....A TUESDAY night in December and the place was ROCKIN’...spilling into the street FUN! I’ve had some memorable experiences in NOLA (and some I wish I could remember), but this was one of the best. If I didn’t like snow so much, I might become a damn Yankee too...
If you’re lookin for classic New Orleans this is it. Just be ready to stay up late
Fire code? Is there one? Holy shit, I’ve never felt more like a sardine. Way too many people in there. Band was great: Rebirth Brass Band. Bartender was very good as well. But damn was it packed!

First Time in that area of New Orleans! Such a wonderful experience! Great vibe and atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back!
