Dr. Mesirow is one of the best going now. Not sure if he’s still accepting new patients, but I had to wait a while for an opening, and now I see why! My hair is already growing back at the crown of my head and the vitiligo is slowing dissipating. I appreciate him so much as my doctor! I’m so blessed to be under his care. Great doctor/dermatologist! Really knows what he’s doing. Spends appropriate amount of time with you to give you accurate diagnosis and course of treatment. Nice guy, and the staff is also helpful and caring! Thanks!
I had to wait at least an hour and some change to actually see Dr. Mesirow. When I finally got into a patient room after waiting over 45 minutes the tech asked me to sit down on one of the chairs in the room, and I looked down and there was a dirty, bloody band-aid sitting on the table next to me. I almost vomited. When Dr. Mesirow finally came into the room to see me he spent about 5 minutes with me (after I waited over an hour to see him). I have seen Dr. Mesirow various times for a number of skin conditions. He always is friendly with an amazing bedside manner, making me feel relaxed and at ease. I know I am in good, knowledgeable and caring hands with him. He takes ample time to carefully examine my skin and come to the right, accurate diagnosis as well as proper course of treatment based on his decades of experience as a dermatologist and physician. I went to him for one problem and he saw I had another problem which other doctors didn't treat so he did. It turned out it was very serious. He is the best doctor.
Did a terrible job with my skin
I've been a patient since (roughly) 2004 to manage mile adult acne. Dr. Mesirow is excellent. My mother is a previous patient. She had a few facial moles removed and stated that the she looks 10 years younger.
Terrible human being
On the recommendation of Dr. Mesirow I seen a Dr. V. Lyengar (butcher) for two bumps on my right cheek cheek were told were told were clogged pores. Dr. V. Lyengar removed them, was in and out of the office in less than five minutes. I now have two deep crater scars on my right cheek. I feel if I were a female he would have taken an extra thirty second and done a less invasive procedure. A friend nurse of mine that works there told me that Dr. V. Lyengar is always in a hurry to make money.
