We stayed in room 306, but experienced nothing haunting. It was beautiful though. Very memorable.
Much better then a commercial hotel. It's so beautiful! I only wish the bar/restaurant was open.
My husband brought me here for my birthday last night. It was our 4th stay. I love the old charm of the hotel. It's so beautiful and an interesting piece of history. Love the Jacuzzi tub as well. Very relaxing. We will definitely come back again and again. Maybe one day we will see a ghost, but nothing yet.
Maybe I'm bias cause I have the same last name. But i love this place, feel at home here. Also love old historic buildings with lots of history and stories. I've stayed in a different room every time and there isn't a bad room in the castle. I will be back soon
It's okay if you wanted to learn about the history of the mansion but when you book your room they tell you that you have continental breakfast. we were told no breakfast this morning because the restaurant is closed and the bar is closed the new owners don't want to operate them. Asked if they are going to credit something back and they said sorry no credit also the rooms have no iron in them and no hair dryer we will never go back....
Had a good time. Stayed the night on 2/4/17. Picked up some unexplainable phenomenons mostly in 306! Other then that I also enjoyed the room 304.
Very friendly staff. Was sad the bar and restaurant was closed. Going to have to explore those next time!
Very neat place to stay. 2 things they need to work on. My room door had a 1" gap underneath it. I do not think women would feel safe with that. Room phone did not work. Regardless I will stay again in this masterpiece.
Got married here at midnight on 1-1-17. This place will always be held fondly in my heart. Hot water takes forever to heat up, heat in the rooms is a bit hard to regulate and the rooms are kinda plane Jane...But come on it's a CASTLE!
