I stayed with my two sisters just last weekend and we caught pics in Windows in the hall ....and as for amenities it's different but it's so old why remodel to accomondate...would ruin it...this is the way the hotel is at Mt Rainier at Paradise it's perfect
We stayed over night when we first moved to Port Townsend in 1977.....we eat there once in awhile......good food and beautiful creepy cool place.
Awesome experience stayed on the 3rd floor in stayed in room 306.

We stayed on August 3rd, 2016. We stayed on the 3rd floor in Suite. We was the only guest on the 3rd floor that night . That was a little creepy. The castle was beautiful and Victorian structure was unbelievable. They say it's possible haunted . Me and daughter did experience something in the cafeteria. It was around 11pm and the cafeteria and the front desk was closed . We was the only guest there. No air conditioning.It was so hot,I took a cold shower in the middle of the night.Was not impresse.
Great get away. Sweet room. And how did our clothes end up out off the hangers in our closet on the floor at the foot of our bed?
I enjoyed my stay. The room could have been cleaner and would have really liked it if the restaurant was open during the week. I've stayed here many times and it seems more ran down. The women running the hotel were amazing and extremely helpful.
Very friendly staff! We really enjoyed our stay! The authentic feel of the castle is one of a kind.
