I had "sold myself" on the vehicle I bought, so there was no need for someone to sell it to me. I was looking for a price that I could afford and an acceptable trade in value for my current vehicle. Great dealership and customer service. I was referred to Mankato Motors by my cousin and went to test drive cars a little over a week ago. When we went, Jesse Severson ( who my cousin highly recommended) wasn't there the day but he left information there for us so they knew we were coming and we were able to go right in and pretty much test drive all that we wanted. Mike worked hard to find my daughter the perfect car within her price range. He was patient and kept her informed of what was available that he thought would work for her. He worked with us for 6 months before she found what she wanted. I was disappointed with the trade in value for the two cars we traded in. I felt they offered the lowest price they thought they could and still have the deal go through. The evaluator was, I felt, unkind and not exactly honest.
Travis Morris is the best sales person and works with a good guy named Ralph. He didn't hide anything from us, didn't push us out in crap, and we got a sweet ride at an even sweeter price. Travis does the job cuz he loves it not for the sales, and he knowingly didn't put us in a deal that was way over our heads or something knowing we couldn't handle it. Travis you're the man GO TEXAS!!!!
Think twice before bringing your vehicle here for service. I brought my vehicle in to get the rear brakes fixed. After paying nearly $500 I got the car back. My wife drove it for the next two months and then commented that the brakes were making noise. When I checked out the vehicle I realized that they had not properly lubricated the brakes, they had not bled the brake lines so the pedal could be pushed almost to the floor before engaging, and the calipers were so dirty that the pads were only engaging on a very small spot.... read more
I have had one of the best customer service experiences at Mankato Motors and specifically with a gentleman in sales, Travis Morris. I purchased my vehicle in December and Travis was flexible to my time as well as very respectful of me. Today I had another great experience when I brought my vehicle in for service. Thanks for all your help Travis. I hope to buy another car from Travis at the end of the year.

My personal experience with Mankato Motors has been a My personal experience with Mankato Motors has been a great one. Travis is one of the most helpfull salesmen that I have the honor to have worked with. He guided me thru the process of leasing a new vehicle and made sure that I understood the whole thing. This was my second purchase and the second time that I was helped by Travis. I have nothing but great admiration for the quality of personnel working for Mankato Motors and will definatelly return for future purchases.
Carey was super to work with and very friendly and helpful. However I do feel I was a bit shorted when it came numbers $ time. I had one gentleman, I think his name was Mike, test drive my trade in. I told him right away that my vehicle has a partial salvage title and I was aware the value might be a bit down, but not as far down as he thought.
