History Established in 1984. Bob Stineford, a well known and likeable man and native of Oneonta, NY . He opened Mane Street Cutters in the early 80s. He opened the salon as a two story salon and after years of trying to maintain both stories, he decided to downsize and just keep the upstairs salon running for a little more intimate setting. He was able to stay on main street without the sidewalk windows for the town to know your getting your hair done. I took a chance today on a new stylist in a salon I haven't been to in 20 years, and had a cut and highlight with Ann Jones. She did an absolutely beautiful job and I love my new cut and blonde highlights. She cut my hair 3 TIMES - dry, then wet after the highlights processed, then again when blown out. WOW! I had never been to mane street cutters until Ann Jones had started working there. As I loyal client of hers I followed her from her previous salon and was so glad I did.
