Mana Jo will take care of your hair and you! I’ve been on a dark hair color journey (blonde to brunette) and Jo is constantly looking out for my hair. I’ve been going to her for 2.5 years and she knows exactly what colors I want and she researches for products that will work for my hair. Every time I see her, she’s looking at my hair and talking about new techniques and products to keep my hair dark and cool. Jo is literally one of the friendliest people, and she is super informed on hair. She’s able to do all hair types so you’ll have no problem.
Jo is the most talented & professional, full service stylist I've ever had cut & style my hair. My hair is curly in spots & straight in others & this makes it very hard for me to make it look decent. She knows how to deal with my mixed hair & the way she cuts it brings out the natural curl. I always leave her salon feeling pretty & uplifted. I have been going to Mana Jo's salon for 4 and 1/2 years. And each time I leave, I have a new found appreciation for life. I feel connected to my community, and I leave with a fabulous haircut. I could pop in at any time, and Jo is always happy to see me. She brings a lovely and welcoming presence to UNC and I am so grateful that I am still able to see this amazing lady every 6 weeks.
