Wow. We've been here 15 years and it never even occurred to me to try this place. Tonight we wanted "anything but Mexican". Saw this sign on 29 and decided to take a chance. It was superb ! The hostess was friendly and courteous! The waitress was prompt and friendly and capable! The food? Delicious and plentiful! The best chicken fried steak I've ever had! We really enjoy coming due to the large amount of space for our groups and they also sell alcohol �. Staff is always wonderful and so friendly!
Chicken fried steak was excellent. The view was wonderful! Did not care for the buttermilk pie but everything else was so good I do plan to go back.

Best fried pickles I've ever had. Had the 2 fried pork chops with white gravy, fried greens beans & potato salad, oh so good! Big portions, had to take most home. Fantastic service, our waitress Maria was outstanding! We'll be back for sure! <3
This cozy little restaurant sits adjacent to Hamilton Creek Park and is surrounded by pecan trees making for a beautiful setting. Their staff and service is excellent and the food is delicious. Despite having a party of eleven we were promptly seated, our orders taken, and plates sent out in a reasonable amount of time. Thumbs way up on the chicken fried chicken plate! We'll be back!
Awesome food, I had the fried catfish with fried okra with mac & cheese (incredible), my wife had a cheese burger with fries. Great service
