Saw the A-frame sign on the side of the road one morning on our way to Fredericksburg & decided to give it a try for breakfast. It was great. So we decided to come back for the Monday meatloaf. It was an hour drive but thought it would be worth it. Too late, meatloaf was good and sides were especially good, even though we had a long wait for every thing. And they weren't that busy.

We ate lunch at Mama's Home Cooking today and it was wonderful. Food and service was excellent. I would highly recommend anyone trying this great place.
The food was great with live music on Friday night! Our waitress was top notch and this is a really clean restaurant.
Good food. Creamy squash soup was excellent! A side spinach salad was just enough for a healthy lunch.
The batter on the chicken fried steak and chicken fingers is great. Well done. We will be back when we come that way again
