I’ve been here many times, and it truly is a lovely spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is consistently great, and the desserts are genuinely delicious — clearly made with care. One small suggestion: when customers say they’re having their order for here and are sitting at the tables, it would be great if mugs and proper metal flatware were the default. The service & the scene are fantastic. I've been twice though, and I feel like the pastries are mediocre to average. Nothing particularly bold. Sub-par lamination. They tend to feel like they lack passion and/or inspiration. The Martha Stewart lemon sugar bun felt overfilled with what seemed like a slightly lemony diplomat's cream. Atmosphere was nice. Ordered an iced coffee and the barista made a hot coffee by mistake. Instead of making a new one he just poured ice on my hot coffee. Tasted terrible and watered down.
