No customer service, no help of any kind--STAY AWAY!!! I had the free service recommended by computer repair service man, then tricked by MWBytes into signing up for free trial of their premium services. They would not cancel the free trial when I realized my mistake. I have 1 more day before trial ends, and am anticipating a nightmare. They have no credit card info, but I have been victim of fraud in the past and am worried.

I've used the Malwarebytes software for many years and never had a single problem with the service, billing, and never had to contact customer service. As long as I have internet access with my computer, I will never cancel. Malwarebytes detects and blocks malware, trojans, PUP & malicious websites, that Norton Security did NOT detect and did not block. In April 2021 I received a renewal notice for service that was an autopay notice saying that my service was to be renewed the following month. I logged on and turned the renewal notice off immediately which was four weeks before the next charge should occur, I am trained on computers and know that I turned the notice off permanently before the next month, Malwaresbytes sent payment thru for $104.00 for the renewal anyway. I have used them for 4 years. this year I removed my CC info AND canceled auto renewal. Somehow, my info just popped back on to the page, auto renewal turned it self back on, and i was charged 50 dollars. I am extremely PC literate so I know what i did and that it was done correctly. These guys Entered my info, turned on renewals AND billed me. There is ZERO customer support, no phone numbers, NO HELP AT ALL. The company charged me for a year's service without my consent. I spent three hours yesterday trying to contact them and they made it impossible. They would not give me their phone number. I am a very unhappy customer and would advise everyone not to deal with this lousy company.

I have been a very pleased Malwarebytes customer for some 9 years now. However, latest experience as in a time line below should suggest internal admin. problems. X-XX-XXXX: Purchased Malwarebytes (5 computers) "plus" Privacy ref. # 1399XXXX. All is working well as expected with no issues. XX-XX-XXXX: I emailed tech support with a question saying my interned speed 85mpbs X 45mbps are always my normal speeds. I repaired a friends computer using malewarebytes to clean her virus up. Then on Oct 25, 2020 Malwarebytes stole $63.35 out of my bank using my debit when last year (XXXX) I deselected the subscription box to let my friend decide for herself. Malwarebytes was quite capable in toggling my no to a yes without my knowing it. I did contact my back told them this same information and for now the bank gave me my money back. I've been a Malwarebytes customer for quite some time. I paid for my renewal subscription and was satisfied with the product, until they arbitrarily revoked my paid subscription and claimed they refunded me. No explanation as to why and no refund to be found. So, I concur with most of the reviews here, customer service is non-existent. Submitting a problem ticket will get you a canned response. I'm having the same problem. Great Product, but they have set this up so that the money goes one direction. There is no customer service. I am trying to follow the EERO+ instructions for setting up Malwarebytes, under the EERO+ subscription. Unfortunately the instructions on how to setup Malwarebytes with EERO+ are useless. The steps described, are basically nowhere to be found on the Malwarebytes website. It is clear as mud. I have asked for a refund from Malwarebytes.
