I have lived here for 3 years. I moved from a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, to a one bed one bath. Since then have had nothing, but problems, that the dear office manager, and staff say have nothing to do with them, Verbatim I do not come into your home and fix what's wrong, I just send them to fix the problem. Wonderful place to live! I love being in a cute, quiet neighborhood that's walking distance to great restaurants and coffee shops! The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Entire year here was a disaster. From management “losing” a doctor’s note for our ESD, trying to get rid of our pitbull, which the note they lost wasn’t even for, since the date was months prior to getting him, to not fixing our ac, to charging us $510 for “carpet replacement” due to “pet dander” when we only have two dogs, who get groomed and bathed weekly. The staff here is SO nice!!!! I was moving here from over an hour away and was super nervous about a new place and new apartment. Jackie was there with me every step of the way, from every email to every phone call. Also, great area and always quiet. I HIGHLY recommend Malibu!!!!
I turned in my application along with the app fee and a deposit. I was told I would hear back the same day. A week later I had heard nothing so I went back in. The woman was nice, went over things with me and assured she would speak to the assistant manager about my application. 6 days later I had still heard absolutely nothing. I was never told whether I had been accepted for an apartment. Their poor communication and disorganization have indicated to me that this is a terrible place to live.
