DISORGANIZED AND UNRELIABLE!!! I strongly advise against renting at Malden Gardens. The entire process of application and signing a lease has been frustrating and unprofessional. After being approved for an apartment, the leasing agents started giving us confusing and inconsistent information. Initially, we viewed a unit on the 8th floor. Package stolen!! Poor Management!! Not even worth to pay so much rent $2.5k/month for such a pathetic management. My wife sent me a surprise package all the way from different country. And it was dropped in front of the main door by fedex. But someone picked up my packet. Despite our guard was present he is not aware of any such incident. Stay away from this apartment. Humble request.
Originally I gave this place "5 stars" but after LIVING here for nearly 25yrs, I TAKE my rating BACK! The rents have gone up $200+ per month on top of the monthly regular rent! The garage is in disarray as it's literally falling apart & the elevators are constantly out of order & NEVER EVER get fixed in the "time period" that the management says it will! As for "roaches & mice", the management does TRY to keep on top of it as well any repairs needed for the individual apartments. But again, it's a very LARGE building & there... read more
Dirty elevators, pests (roaches/mice), things break every week or so. Maintenance team rarely shows up for service requests, if they do it's several days later. Elevators routinely break down and stay down for weeks. Laundry machines aren't properly maintained. Pool/Gym hasn't been open in many years which they still advertise as included. Security has been an issue, with teenagers breaking in and trashing the place, smoking weed indoors, and causing a ruckus on the stairwells.
