I have been a patient of Mala since 2023. My mental health has never been better thanks to this amazing group of professionals. My therapist is fully engaged and has made several recommendations that have served me well. My psychiatrist listens to me and remembers my issues in detail which is refreshing. After requesting what I thought was simple therapy for my family, I was placed on a waiting list for a few months. At one point, the organization emailed me saying I was no longer on the wait list. I spoke with the Clinical Director and they said they did not have anyone to do the therapy I was looking for. The Clinical Director said she would create a list of referrals for me which turned out to be a blanket Referral List they sent to anyone and some of the businesses were no longer in operations. Finally some neuro affirming care! Love to see it
This could be a great place, but the communication is atrocious. Fall of 2024 my son was having some behavioral issues and we were hoping to get him into Mala. We finally found a provider that accepted our insurance and could fit him into her schedule. He went to 2 appointments before we got an email that the provider was no longer with Mala.
