I worked in the L.A.'s Civic Center area from 2002-2008. Back then I often patronized the restaurants in Weller Court, and was invariably pleased and impressed with the quality of the fish at Mako Sushi, and the gracious, joyous way that Chef Mako and his wife Miyuki, made their guests feel welcome, even during the harried pace of the Civic Center lunch-hour rush.
