RecommendedIt's interchangeable with traditional heating oil (no need for different equipment or parts) and I know my heating is cleaner and greener.
I have a furnace that has been fitted to burn 98% biodiesel and have purchased my fuel for over four years from Maine Standard Biofuel. They have always been accommodating and responsive to my needs even on short notice. They now have a tune-up service so I can get my furnace maintained by them. They also sell a product that burns cleaner than regular #2 heating oil and does not involve any special accommodation to your furnace. It burns cleaner and you are supporting a Maine based business. What's not to love?

I have used Maine Standard Biofuels for three seasons now in Portland.
