Very professional service . Rite on time with all my projects. I had a Quadra Fire Grand Voyager installed in my home and I absolutely love it. We only use 350 gallons of oil a year. Great investment ! I highly recommend Main St Stove n Fireplace.

HUGE MISTAKE BUYING FROM THIS PLACE! I posted in October, 2017 about problems we had with our newly installed Mendota fireplace. That was finally resolved and we have been enjoying our fireplace. Now, less than 4 months later, another problem. When the back burner comes on, there is a big BANG which shakes the doors! Called service. They sent out their tech. impressed with sales and displays. the worst service I have ever seen!! Ordered in September and 2 days before Christmas still not finished. I wish I had read about this place before ordering. The first guy who came to measure needed a tape measure from my husband, then a flashlight so he could look up the chimney. The installers who came the week of a Christmas party, didn't know how to install.....my husband read the instructions, and had to demand that they insulate the pipe as the book said because the guys didn't do it.... read more

So disgusted! We purchased a top of the line Mendota gas insert fireplace. It was installed in July and IT STILL DOESN'T WORK RIGHT!!! We had our 2nd service call today. And of course, the fireplace died out again tonight! Meanwhile, our warranty period is ticking down. Don't know if the unit is just a lemon, or if the service department is incompetent. I intend to call the manufacturer and demand, at the very least, an extension of the warranty. The only reason I gave even one star was that the salesman was nice. But now, I... read more
