Expensive Had them come out to give an estimate to remove two shrubs. As a former landscapper, too old to want to do it myself, I estimated 300 total. These were not huge lilac trees but bushes. They gave me an estimate far exceeding that amount then he told me, that did not include getting rid of the roots. Those would still be there and it would costs more to remove them. Ya I passed. Way out of line for the work.

Had my next door neighbors tree removed next to my house. The owner of the company said he would notify me days ahead but they showed up that morning at my door without advanced notification to say my power was going to be out for 3-4 hours. It’s been 7 plus hours and power is still off. Attempted to contact owner of the company and he hung up with a very negative attitude. Would not recommend this company if you respect your neighbors.
Great service! I had a horrible time dealing with Hathaway Tree Service in Rochester (unprofessional and lazy). I was thoroughly impressed (again) with Maier. They came to my house when they said, the immediately wrote up a reasonable proposal and a date when they could do the work. They were professional and courteous from start to finish! I can't recommend them enough.
Poor customer service. They also managed to make my lawn worse than it was before I hired them and were never able to take good care of my trees. Quiet expensive with no results to account for the price. Would never hire again.

They apply pesticides that wipe out bee colonies. Bees pollinate the foods you eat.
Maier Tree & Lawn have provide lawn care and tree service for our property for a number of years. The results are beautiful, their staff are courteous, dependable, professional and very knowledgeable. We are completely satisfied with the service they provide!
