They've all taken rides on the Maid of the Mist—or rather one of seven Maids, which first launched its boats in 1846. This world-famous boat takes its passengers right into the heart of the Falls. You can catch the boat on either the American or Canadian side, with boardings every 15 minutes between April and the end of October.

YOU MUST DO THIS when you visit It was a little scary to ride a boat with 200 other people standing trying to get the best spot to see the 3 different falls. The boat took us to the edge of the bigger falls which is called the horseshoe. It was amazing. They provide you with rain gear and shoes because YOU WILL GET WET. It was one of the most exciting thing we as a family ever did. PROS: CONS: It's a little scary with all the people trying to push and shove for a spot
