Needing a coffee at lunch while in the area and discover this gem! I like my coffee a little cooler so was delighted to hear of the kid temp option, not to mention a couple ice coffee cubes to help a little more! Now let's talk about these mini doughnuts? (I am sure fat free) a little guilty pleasure and well worth an extra mile on the treadmill! This is more than a coffee shop, it's an experience! Warm, welcoming, uplifting and inviting!

RecommendedI would absolutely recommend Mahalo’s! The owners and staff are very friendly. The atmosphere/design of the cafe is really cute and fun! Donuts and coffee delicious! Hands down, best in Des Moines area. Mahalo’s Donuts is a family favorite! My two year old loves going here. We also like to bring family and friends here for a wonderful morning treat! I highly recommend.

I'm a mom that lives 2 hours away from her adult daughter. I wanted to send something to her office for her birthday to share with the coworkers. I called last minute to my Mahalo's coffee and donuts, and spoke to Troy. He was most kind to put together a tray of assorted flavors to send to her office and even delivered then!
