Took 3 months to repair air conditioning. 4 months to repair dishwasher. Falsely advertises broken hot tubs. Claims to be a gated community, but the gates havent worked for well over a year. Went a full month without trash service at the entire complex. Front office regularly closes during business hours for no reason. Multiple packages have gone missing. Management is incompetent. Several large potholes near the entrance. Easily the worst option in Cenla, especially at their bloated prices.
As far from what I have seen these apartments are by far the nicest in my local area. The community buildings are very neat and decorated. The three ladies that work up front are very knowledgeable and respectful. Their maintenance guys are also very respectful and take care of issues in a timely manner.
First of all, in the last year or so, Magnolia Trace has made major improvements on their infrastructure (garbage stalls, swimming pools, fences, yard work). However, the management personnel rank at about a 2 out of ten for their rude and impersonal relationship with their tenants. I feel like the first chance someone gets a chance to find an alternate choice, they will if it hasn’t started already.
The absolute worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. We moved in here in 2019 From Dallas TX (Trust me, it was not a move that we wanted. I absolutely do not recommend anyone moves to Alexandria LA) – the manager at the time (Amanda) Was absolutely amazing and was on top of everything in the apartment complex, they were definitely understaffed, but even then she did everything she could to accommodate the people who lived here… Then she left in 2022 and everything went downhill since then. This place is nasty. The people giving this place a good rating either work there or are among the ridiculous number of pot smokers that do it out in the open. You can hardly walk at night without smelling somebody smoking something that sure isn't brisket. Lots of green space that you can't play in because they don't mow and there is dog poop everywhere. The car wash stations don't work. The pools are nasty. I doubt they clean them. I had to bring my own soap to the bathroom at the gym because it never had any. Apart... read more
