Carlos R arrived as scheduled and provided outstanding service on my two air conditioning units. One of the units has a history of coolant leaks, and Carlos explained my options. He thoroughly completed all of the maintenance work on the units and did not rush. I ask a lot of questions and he patiently explained everything I wanted to know. When I called to schedule the appointment, the office was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. They notified me when Carlos was on his way.
They did fine, It was a routine annual AC check. Carlos R. showed up on time and did a thorough job. No issues here
This company does not honor commitments. I scheduled an appointment with a 2 hour window; the technician showed up 2 hours AFTER my scheduled appointment. The technician was unprepared, didn't appear to know what he was doing, and charged me $109 "diagnostic fee" for merely looking into my furnace and noting that dust is inside the furnace. The technician didn't do any troubleshooting, whatsoever, yet still managed to come up with a laundry list of items that "needed to be repaired". Richard G. About a month ago I called magnolia to check the pilot on my furnace that went out. I called magnolia because I used them about three or four years ago. At that time, the technician questioned why I called magnolia and not another company that he named. I should have taken that as a warning sign, but my way of thinking is that because I used them before, they would give fair and honest service this time. Back in November the company installed a brand new HVAC and tankless water heater into my home. During the install the crew seemed to be knowledgeable however they did drill several holes into my brand new floors while trying to locate vent placement. Although they did repair those boards it did seem like this mistake was due to inexperience. Fast forward 6 months and i had to call them back due to my system leaking. Awful, dishonest, rude. Stay away.
I don't question their professionalism or expertise, I just found the way they do their pricing can be disadvantageous to their customer. I am from out of area and maybe it is normal to pay over $800 to turn the gas on a small residential hot water boiler and check the radiators for leaks. That is what my babe in the woods daughter in law signed on for when the tech showed up. Yes, she OK'd the charge before hand. He was in the house less than 2 hours.
