I have been to Magnolia a few times now and I love it so much I thought I would write a review :) The restaurant has a very classic old Hollywood feel. Of all that I have ordered so far, I highly suggest the Tina Tartare and Spinach and Artichoke Dip for appetizers--incredibly tasty! I also suggest people try their Pan Seared Scallops....to. die. for. The staff was very friendly (which I sometimes find rare in LA) and efficient. Overall, Magnolia is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in Hollywood!
Came in with friends after attending a special screening of a movie at the Arclight... My friend ended with a PIECE OF GLASS on his plate! Manager (Alex) said it was plastic and acted as if it was an ordinary thing to happen while dining at a restaurant. What was the way they solved the solution? By just deducting the plate off the check by using the PROMO code: GOODWILL. I wonder how they would had dealt with it if my friend would of actually swallowed the piece of glass. Came in for dinner and ended up with a cut tongue from a shard of glass in the food and a brush off from the manager.
Food is great, servers are a bit sassy sometimes but it's not a big deal.
