Want gourmet food? don't come here. Want your kids to have fun, this is the place. Toothfairie tradition. We go celebrate here. I don't expect great food and I've never been disappointed. It is solid regular american food with lots of smiles for the kiddos. We love the characters there.
It was my daughter's bday so we decided to there never ever going again we waiting more than 20 min for the waiter never came so we left and restaurant is filthy.
My husband, son, nephew, and I ate there for lunch on our way back home and had a pleasant experience. The salad bar was good.....the burger and fries were average......the pizza was not so good! Our waitress was very strange.....we never even knew who she was suppose to be! She didnt chanrge us for any of our drinks or our cheesecake! Guess it was her little way of making some extra tip money......but we would certainly go back!

Avoid this restaurant. It is in a terrible part of town with theft and break-in issues. Our vehicle was broken in to in broad daylight 6 car spots over from the front door. When we went inside to have the restaurant call the police, we were told that this is something that happens all the time and that we couldn't use the phone. When I inquired of the manager whether or not they had video surveillance in the lot, we were told no, that it was too expensive for them. Magic Time Machine – I had seen the place for years and always wanted to go. A group of my girlfriends and I decided to go and celebrate one of our birthdays there finally! Best decision ever! We have been back as a group for every birthday since then! and a few times just to go! The prices are a little high, but u get a ton of food! Order one plate and share! Eat before you go... – We are from Austin and have driven by the Magic Time Machine for years on our way through San Antonio. We finally made a special trip even after reading the reviews. The food was terrible except for the bread. The bread was really good. We were lucky to get Captain Jack Sparrow. He was the best part of the night. If not for him the enitre night would have been a disaster. We decided if we ever go back we will only go for desert. Do not eat the food. Overpriced.
LOVE their Prime Rib! – I've lived and dined in SA for 62 years and visited MTM often, with years in between. Last time, my husband, another couple and I went to hear a group playing in the bar on a Friday night. We went early so we could eat before hand, but the wait to get a table in the restaurant was long. We asked if we could eat in the bar, and they were SO accomodating. Loving Tinkerbell – My gf and daughter and I stopped by on a Sunday a couple of weekends ago and had a great experience. Tinkerbell(Crystal) was our waitress...she was very entertaining for our 4 year old as well as ourselves. Service was fast and Tinkerbell was fun and funny and definitely not hard on the eyes. Its definitely a great place for special occasions but also just for a change of pace and some interactive service/entertainment I would definitely recommend it.
