Maggiano's Little Italy is a nationwide chain that believes in serving you wholesome Italian fare in a quintessential old time environment. The Maggiano's, next to the Los Angeles Farmer's Market, is located in The Grove shopping center. Cheerful red table linen and the friendly service invite you to try home-made fare, as yummy as your grandma used to make...had she been Italian of course! This eatery also offers a comprehensive family menu. Inexpensive, casual and charming...do you need any more incentive?

Successful Bridal Shower – I recently just gave my best friend a bridal shower. I have to say it was a pleasure working with the event coordinator. We had a family style event. On the day of the shower thestaff was great, organized and ready to start serving. Everything was perfect the food, the service and I am so happy we went with Maggiano's for $25 a person. You get so much for the money
Great food, good service, so-so ambiance – This is a good restaurant with a super huge wait. It's worth it if you only go once in a while. The service is good.
LA's best happy hour, patio dining & banquet facility! – Farmers Market - Maggiano's -- LA's BEST Happy Hour! Featuring LIVE Jazz, a hip industry crowd, and heavily discounted food and drink (with appetizers @ $2.95 and most drinks under $5.00) Monday - Friday 4pm-6:30pm. And dinner at Maggiano's is unsurpassed in terms of cuisine, atmosphere, and service. To dine al fresco on the magnificent (heated) patio is THE definition of indulgence for every single one of your senses. And don't even get us started about the endless me... read more
Just awful customer service... – Had a great experience at Maggiano's before, but no such luck this time. Brought my wife to have a drink at the bar...slow service...the bartender did not look us in the eye, much less ask us if we would like anything else to drink. When we were seated for dinner, saw our waiter ONLY ONCE the whole evening and waited 25 minutes with no service, no water, no bread...After asking every staff member that we saw, "Where is our waiter?" Some poor soul took pity on us, and took our order. And this ... read more
Decent Italian in a fancy setting – There are a few different fancy restaurants at the Grove and this has been my favorite so far. The food's pretty good but the atmosphere is terrific! I've been here for private parties as well as intimate dinners and it's been great all the way around. I like their desserts and their pastas are tasty.
Best Tramisu! – It is a very romantic place for couples, or a group of friend to hangout and have some great food. They have very good food, food are not expensive, if you love to enjoy a glass of good red wine, that is the place for you, and their deserts are very delisious. Service are very good, if you are the first time there, they will recommend good food to you. i will defintely go back soon and bring more friends there! oh if you are a tiramisu fans, or you love sugar, tiramisu is your best choice! try it, you wont re... read more
Highly Overrated! – Maggianos is highly overrated. I would rather spend $36 at Houstons and get myself prime rib and a couple of drinks! However, if you are looking for that cheesecakefactory-type feel, and you are in a large group - Maggianos works well because they have a set menu for $22.50 for two salads, two entrees, and two desserts. Also, it's all you can eat. I guess it's good for having unlimited amounts of food - but next time I'll skip all you can eat mediocre food.
Love it and dearly miss it! – I used to live in LA and just visited this restaurant again while visiting the area. I still like this place! The location is great, the food is authentic (I lived in Italy for a year), and the decor of the restaurant makes it fun and comfortable. I'd recommend it without hesitation!
Great for a date! – I disagree with the other reviewers who claim that this place is overrated. Maggiano's has fantastic atmosphere and quality, especially for the price. Portions are generous, which is surprising since it does not result in a decrease in quality or taste. I HIGHLY recommend the chopped salad, Chicken Saltimbocca, and Rigatoni D with chicken and mushroom marsala sauce. I would pick Maggiano's over Bucca Di Beppo, The Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, or any other "Italian" chain ANY day. The wait is well worth i... read more
