Serving some of the largest portions ever seen on a single plate, this traditional Italian restaurant around the corner from the Park Plaza Hotel is sure to satisfy even the hungriest appetites. Red and white tablecloths contrast with a dark mahogany bar. The menu includes salads, antipasti, homemade pasta and prime rib. Try the spaghetti carbonara, mostaccioli, homemade gnocchi or the chicken giardiniera. For dessert, there is chocolate zuccoto cake, profiteroles and vanilla gelato. Wonderful – I went to one of these in Philly and it was great. This one in boston is just as good. If you are going with a large group(8 or more) this is the place. the family style is fantastic. try the fried ravioli!!
go some place else – I had dinner at Maggiano's this past Friday and I was not at all impressed. The chicken on the cesar salad was dried out and the lasagna, well I've had better.
i LOVE it! – My boyfriend and I went for his birthday but arrived about 20 minutes before our reservations. We we seated immediately. Their website was extremely helpful so I already knew what I wanted. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We had the assortment of appetizers and loved them. We also loved our dinners, too. SO much food! I ate a lot when I was there, and my boyfriend and I had to finish just my portion the next day. And that was a half order... I really liked the atmosphere, too. Music from the rat pack pla... read more
salt overdose – This is a great place to eat as long as you stay away from the meat sauces, they are too salty, and it took me three meals to leanr that it is always that way.
AWESOME – This place as the best Italian food - and I should know. I am a New York Italian who grew up with my sicilian grandparents and for them to say the food is great is a very big compliment.
Mad about Maggiano's!!! – An adventure in dining--friendly, outgoing wait staff, good variety of menu choices-don't miss the family style if your party is four or more- a unique family style experience...but be sure to put your request for seconds in early to avoid a wait-especially on the mussels and artichokes!! Don't leave out their house salad and desserts are to die for---everyone should experience Maggiano's!!!!
Big Portions! Great Taste! – I sound like this cheesy ad but I'm telling you Maggiano's has got the best Italian food. Big portions are served and the sauces and flavors are just right. Their dinner specials are terrific too! Their best salad is the Chicken Chopped Salad with avocado and prosciutto. I've had their different pastas and they are all good. Okay, I think they make the best tasting meatballs too. Be sure to get dessert at the end of your meal. Definitely can't miss out on their dessert.
Perfection takes time – Getting better every time...though garlic still pervades some dishes, the chefs at Maggianos are doing right in my book. It took a while, they've been open just about four years now...but it seems to have all fallen into place! Just don't expect to do too much after dining here, you'll be almost too full to get up from the table!
Outstand Food and Ambience – The food and setting are top notch. And if you can order it all you can eat.
Maggiano's has a 4.5 star rating with 4,737 reviews.
